Join us on April 22 at 6:30 PM CT for "Forgotten Histories of Jewish Women in Iowa: Community Discussion," a follow-up to a previous Women's History Month event on the same topic.
Dr. Jeannette Gabriel, Director, Schwalb Center for Israel & Jewish Studies, will lead a discussion on the connections between family collections and broader Jewish and American history, examining Jewish women's lives from complex perspectives, and placing family collections in archives.
This event is cosponsored by the Schwalb Center for Israel & Jewish Studies, the Jewish Federation of the Corridor (Iowa), and the Jewish Federation of Greater Des Moines.
