The annual Rabbi Sidney and Jane Brooks Lecture Series encourages a continuing dialogue between people of different faiths.
This year's event will feature Dr. Mehnaz Afridi, a lecturer at Manhattan College, who brings a helpful perspective to a topic of great importance in human rights studies and inter-religious studies. She will speak about her book, "Shoah through Muslim Eyes," on April 21 from 7-8:30 P.M.

The Rabbi Sidney and Jane Brooks Lecture is an annual endowed lectureship in honor of Rabbi Sidney H and Jane Brooks. The event, organized by the Department of Religious Studies at UNO, aims to bring speakers of national and international prominence to speak about topics related to social justice and/or interfaith connections.
