Angela Brown
Project & Design Manager, Sam and Frances Fried Holocaust and Genocide Academy
Angela has supported the Sam and Frances Fried Holocaust and Genocide Academy and the Leonard and Shirley Goldstein Center for Human Rights since spring of 2019. She is also Adjunct Faculty in the Department of Sociology and Anthropology at UNO. She earned her MA in 2017 from UNO in Sociology with an emphasis in race and pedagogy.
Prior to working at UNO, she worked for the Women's Center for Advancement (WCA) on the prevention education team - informing the public about domestic violence, sexual violence, and human trafficking through presentations and courses in many communities.
Presently, her research examines refugee experiences in the United States and changes in racial attitudes over time.
