Student organizations not only connect you with your peers, but they also offer an opportunity for professional development, networking, management and leadership skill development.

Sigma Delta Pi - Spanish National Honor Society

  • Recognizes outstanding scholarship in Spanish language and literature, and
  • Works to increase the knowledge and appreciation of the Spanish contribution to world culture.

To be eligible for membership in Sigma Delta Pi, one must:

  • have completed one upper division course in Spanish (3000+ level);
  • have completed or currently be enrolled, in a literature or culture class with a B average. If currently enrolled you MUST have a letter from your instructor verifying your work is of at least "B quality.
  • maintain a cumulative GPA of 2.8;
  • maintain a GPA of 3.0 in Spanish.

Members are eligible for local and national scholarships. For membership information contact:

Pi Delta Phi - French National Honor Society

  • Recognizes outstanding scholarship in French language and literature, and
  • Works to increase the knowledge and appreciation of the French contribution to world culture.

To be eligible for membership in Pi Delta Phi, one must:

  • have completed one upper division course in French (3000+ level);
  • maintain a cumulative GPA of 2.8;
  • maintain a GPA of 3.0 in French.
