About Us
Dr. Christine Cutucache received her Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Nebraska at Kearney (2008). Dr. Cutucache received her Ph.D. in Genetics, Cell Biology, and Anatomy from the University of Nebraska Medical Center (2012). Dr. Cutucache began her career at the University of Nebraska at Omaha in 2012 as an Instructor and in 2014 was appointed the Haddix Community Chair of Science and Assistant Professor of Biology. In 2018 Dr. Cutucache was promoted to Associate Professor of Biology. Her teaching interests include microbiology, cancer biology, immunology, and DBER methods. Dr. Cutucache has training in genetics, immunology, tumor immunology, chemoimmunotherapy, and discipline-based educational research. She is dedicated to maintaining a productive laboratory and mentoring undergraduate and graduate students while always serving the needs of the community. She is an experienced evaluator and welcomes projects to assist with science education assessment and evaluation.
