Have you ever found yourself going to class and feel like you are starting to catch a cold, have a nasty headache or just forgot to take your cold medicine? Want to know where you could get some free over-the-counter medicine while on campus? The answer is UNO Health Services!
UNO Health Services is a great on-campus resource that not a lot of students know about. This is a place where students are able to receive treatment for minor health-related conditions without the hassle of driving to a clinic or a hospital. Students are able to consult with the office staff, medical doctors, and nurse practitioners without additional charges because of the fees included in class registration.(Additional fees do apply for specific services, e.g. x-ray, lab tests, procedures, and immunizations.) If you ever have a question about something that is bothering you, you schedule an appointment with Board Certified Professionals and get your concerns answered. If you have some free time in between classes, you can also stop by for a walk-in appointment to see a nurse.
UNO Health Services also offers an affordable insurance plan for both international and domestic students.
Visit UNO Health Services in HPER 102 or visit their website for a list of offered services http://healthservices.unomaha.edu.
