College is a time where many big life decisions are being made. Whether you’re undecided about your major or are lost in the sea of career choices, have no fear because MyPlan is here! MyPlan is an online service that has different assessments to help students sort out who they are and how that translates to the workforce. UNO ACDC has teamed up with MyPlan to offer four of these surveys for FREE to UNO students.
The assessments that are available include a Personality Test, Interests Inventory, Skills Profiler and Values Assessment. The first two are designed to help you better understand who you are and the qualities you have to offer. The self-assessments are designed to give you a better idea of the occupations that may best suit you. From your answers to these assessments, careers are ranked based on how well they match your results. When paired with the Values Assessment, you can see which work environment may best fit you.
MyPlan is a great resource for any student sorting through the big decisions in their college career. It will help you gain a better understanding of who you are and where you fit in the world of work. After completing the MyPlan assessments, schedule an appointment to discuss your results with an ACDC advisor by contacting us at 402-554-3672.
