This is the earliest date a FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) or Renewal FAFSA can be submitted to the processor for the upcoming year. FAFSA is the starting point for almost all financial aid, so make sure to submit your online. you can also view FAFSA deadlines online.
|January 11||Spring semester classes begin. Distribution of financial aid refund checks begin.|
|February 1||First-Year students must apply for admission by this date to be considered for scholarships. See if a general scholarship application is also required.|
|March 1||For current or transfer students to be considered for all UNO scholarships (general application) that are awarded by the Office of Financial Support and Scholarships, please submit the UNO Scholarship Application via MavLINK.|
|April 1||FAFSA must be received by the Federal Student Aid Processor by this date to receive priority consideration for financial aid for the upcoming academic year.|
|April through June||During this time you can expect to receive award notification if you sent your FAFSA in by the priority date (April 1).|
|March through August||Use this time to respond to any questions or requests for documentation from the UNO Office of Financial Support and Scholarships.|
