UNO Campus Recreation Pool is a place where students and Campus Recreation members can enjoy aquatic activities in a safe environment. Our pool is staffed by energetic Red Cross trained lifeguards. All of our lifeguards are current UNO students. We offer a wide range of programs for those who are looking to improve their swimming abilities. Our goal is to help you gain confidence in the water!! Joe Kaminski, Director of Campus Recreation Kate Ziegler Pat Philippi, Asst. Director Aquatics	A World Record holder visits UNO Pool. Kate Ziegler holds the world record in the 1,500 freestyle. Ziegler is here in Omaha trying out for the 2008 Olympic Team. Since the 1,500 freestyle is not an Olympic event for women, Ziegler is concentrating on the 800 and 400 freestyle events.
