will give a talk on
ABSTRACT:
For any d-dimensional lattice polytope there is an associated polynomial called the Ehrhart polynomial. These polynomials encode lots of interesting geometric and combinatorial data about lattice polytopes, yet fundamental questions about them remain difficult to answer. In this talk we will discuss some recent work on roots and coefficients of Ehrhart polynomials as well as some open questions. (Some of this work is joint with Mike Develin.)
