
Problem of the Week
Rules and Regulations:
- Cash prizes will be awarded at the end of each semester to the two participants
submitting the largest number of correct solutions. In the event of a
tie, the POW Committee reserves the right to conduct a run-off.
- In addition, each correct weekly solution will earn the participant one entry into the wild card draw. At the end of the semester, one entry will be drawn at random, and will receive a cash prize.
- Solutions should be submitted in DSC 203.
- Solutions must be carefully written and complete.
- Solutions are due by noon on the Wednesday of the week following the week the problem is posted.
- A new problem will appear each Wednesday, The solution to the previous week's problem, and names
of those submitting correct solutions will appear shortly after.
Some problems appearing in this contest have been taken from published works. The sources are not cited for obvious reasons.
