2009 Maverick Stampede was on April 26th, 2009 at the old Chili Greens property at 9:00 a.m. Events included a 4K, 8K, and 1K fun run.
Welcome to the 11th Annual Maverick Stampede. This event holds 3 different courses: 8K run, 4K run/walk, and 1K Fun Run. The event will be held at the old Chili Greens property on April 26th, 2009 at 9:00am. Upon completion of the event, there will be snacks, awards, and prizes being handed out.
Awards and Prizes will be given to the top three male and female finishers for each designated age group. All registered participants will be entered into a raffle for the door prize drawings. All runners participating in the Fun Run will receive a medal. All awards will be given to the winners at the post race ceremony.
This is the first year that AFP (Alliance of Fitness Professionals) has organized the Maverick Stampede. AFP is a student organization whose members are students in the Physical Education and Exercise Science programs at UNO.
