

The University of Nebraska at Omaha's observation of Constitution Day included three Civic Participation Project events the week of September 17, 2007. These included a reader's theatre discussion of the Constitution by the Forensics Team and Argumentation and Debate students; "Balancing the Protection of Public Safety and the Preservation of Civil Liberties in a Time of Terror," a presentation at the Durham Western Heritage Museum by Drs. Steve Bullock, Carson Holloway, and Olga Lagotska; and "We The People: New Generation Expressions," an art presentation by students and faculty from Western Hills University Partnership Magnet Center
