Problem 12

One day you are riding outside on a go-cart. The diameter of the go-cart's front tires is 3.5 feet and the diameter of the rear tires is 4.25 feet. As you race along you notice that one of your front and one of your rear tires is loosing air. You stop the go-cart and see that both tires have a nail in them. You make a mark with chalk on both the front tire and the rear tire at the location of the nails so that you can fix the tires later. After you have done this you resume riding. How far must the go-cart travel before both marks return to their initial posistion at the same time?
