Trees for Trails (TfT) is a project of UNO's health science honorary, Eta Sigma Gamma. It began as a small project in the spring of 1995. This project has worked with the National Tree Trust and the National Arbor Day Foundation. In addition, TfT received two KETV Celebrate Trees grants (in cooperation with the Papio-Missouri River Natural Resources District), a Nebraska Community Enhancement Program grant, tree donations from the Omaha World-Herald Branching Out program, and a grant from Omaha Public Power District. TfT has planted hundreds of seedlings and hundreds of mature trees on the Keystone and Big Papio Trails.

If you would like to volunteer for any of the Trees for Trails projects please contact Dr. David Corbin at dcorbin@unomaha.edu (phone: 402-554-2670 or fax: 402-554-3693).
