Contract for a "D" (65% overall average)

 

1) Midterm and final

2) One opinion paper on a controversial sexual topic

 

Contract for a "C" (73% overall average)

 

1) Midterm and final

2) Two opinion papers on controversial sexual topics or one opinion paper and one

video critique

 

Contract for a "B" (80% overall average)

 

1) Midterm and final

2) Two opinion papers on controversial sexual topics or one opinion paper and one

video critique

3) Book review on a well-referenced book about sexuality

 

Contract for an "A" (90% overall average)

 

1) Midterm and final

2) Two opinion papers on controversial sexual topics or one opinion paper and one

video critique

3) Project on an issue in sexuality

4) Book review on a well-referenced book about sexuality

NO ASSIGNMENTS OR PAPERS WILL BE ACCEPTED AFTER 8:20 P.M. ON THE DATE THAT THEY ARE DUE Assignments or papers may be handed in prior to due dates and they can be corrected or upgraded and handed in again until the due date (at the student's discretion).

Grades will be computed by matching the work that was completed to the closest requirement as outlined in the grading contract.

Each student is expected to lead one short classroom discussion. Failure to do so will result in a penalty of 25 points off the total score.

Plagiarism is a serious offense and will not be tolerated.
