Research Interest

General Research Interests: Mammalian (Human and Nonhuman) Family Systems & Development

a) Psychobiological, social, and environmental processes that influence the expression of parental caregiving behavior, and the impacts of different parenting styles on the development of offspring

b) The impact of early-life experience on subsequent psychobiological development, including pubertal timing, sexual behavior, and heterosexual relationship quality and parenting styles in adulthood

c) The role of siblings and extended family members in psychobiological development and the impact of caregiving from such individuals on parental caregiving behavior
