The Cadre

 

The following officers are the instructors for AFROTC Detachment 470 for the Fall '07 / Spring '08 school year:

 

Lt Col Jeffrey Johnson

Lt Col Jeffrey Johnson, Commander

 

Lt Col Johnson is the Commander of Detachment 470 and as Chair of Aerospace studies, teaches the AS400 class.  He is an AFROTC graduate from the University of Wyoming and has 18 years of service in Space and Missiles at 8 different bases. Lt Col Johnson's previous assignment was at Malmstrom AFB, Montana where he served as Director of Operations for the Tenth Missile Squadron.

Capt Dave Webb

Capt Dave Webb, Commandant of Cadets

 

As Commandant of Cadets, Capt Webb is primarily responsible for cadet military training and teaching the AS100 and AS200 classes.  Capt Webb has been a communications officer for nearly 7 of his 18 years and has been stationed such places as Langley AFB, VA and most recently, Hickham AFB, HI.

Capt Jack Raitt, Unit Admissions Officer

 

As Unit Admissions Officer, Capt Raitt is responsible for both recruiting and retaining cadets in the ROTC program, as well as teaching the AS300 class.  He has recently been assigned to the Detachment and has had 7 previous assignments, most recently he was assigned to Offutt AFB, NE.  Capt Raitt has been a communications officer for 5 of his 20 years in the Air Force.
