EASY MINORS
for majors that require less then 2 more math courses to complete

A minor in mathematics may be obtained by successful completion of 26 hours in mathematics courses consisting of MATH 1950, 1960, 1970, and four mathematics courses at the 2000 (excluding MATH 2200), 3000, or 4000 level (STAT 3800 may be included).
Students expecting to earn a minor in mathematics need to fill out a 'Change of Academic Program' form to be taken to the Registrar. This form may be obtained in the Math office, DSC 203.

Engineering majors: use any math/science electives or free electives to earn a math minor, read below for specific majors requirements. * Please note that as of spring 2009, differential equations switches from 3350 to 2350.

Information Science and Technology : only one major (bioinformatics) will require 2 or less math courses to complete a minor. However, IS&T majors have free electives which, used properly, can result in an easy minor.
