Project title: Exploring the Alexander and Multivariable alexander polynomial.

Abstract:

We will learn the definitions of several knot invariants and the use of determinants in calculating them. We will be reading several papers in relation to this subject. Some of the general topics will be knot diagrams, spanning sub trees, expanding determinants by minors and much more.
