Teaching Circle:
March 2001

A Mathematics - Math Education Teaching Circle was formed in Fall 1999 as an initiative of Griff Elder. The group carried out many activities, some of them were described in Departmental Newsletter (Fall 2000). During the academic year 2000/2001 the Teaching Circle consisted of Judy Downey, Griff Elder, Valentin Matache and Andrzej Roslanowski from our Department and Neal Grandgenett and Elliott Ostler from the Department of Education. The meetings of the group typically take place during a lunch and are followed by wondering around in search of things that could be done better....
