will give a talk on

Chaos Control and Chaos Synchronization

Abstract:
Chaos exists broadly in a real world. Sometimes people don’t like it; sometimes people want to use it. The traditional control theory can help suppress it to a rest or an outside regular state so that the people feel happy in the first case. In the second case, people want to keep the chaos on its inherent unstable periodic (UPO). For example the defibrillation in heart chaotic state is welcome pretty much. New method is needed in the second case… People like wide-band communication much more than before. Research on Chaos communication is getting more and more popular, since chaotic signal is rich, wide-band and symbolic. Chaos synchronization is one of the chaos communication modes. The traditional feedback approach of chaos synchronization needs to push full state, which is not economical… The reasonable approach of chaos control and synchronization is to use the inherent feature of chaos … smart control!
