pin   James M. Earl Scholarship nominations sought!
[Posted:  Wednesday, March 12, 2003 ]
The James M. Earl Mathematics Scholarships are awarded each year to our most gifted majors. The main selection criteria are: the GPA and involvement in mathematics related enrichment activities. (e.g. participation to Math Club, Math Awareness Month, Putnam group, Problem of the Week etc.) The total amount available for these scholarships is $5000. Based on the number of strong applicants, individual awards may vary in value. Eligible students should be undergraduate students and math majors, (students with double majors, one of which is mathematics, are eligible). The applications or nominations should be in the math office DSC203 by April 2, 2003. For the application form click on the following link.
