The freshman, sophomore and junior Honors members who qualified for Honors Early Registration may register on Friday, November 2nd, at 8:00 a.m. The early registration date will not show up in your Mavlink until October 26, 2012.
As registration for the Spring 2013 semester approaches, it is *very important* that you read the official emails and notices concerning Mavlink.
You can look at classes online by going to the MavLink portal through "my.unomaha.edu." You need not even sign in... all you need to do is check the blue ‘Search of Classes’ button on the screen. On the next screen enter the semester: Spring 2013. Next, click “Honors Program” in the Special Programs box. The Spring 2013 schedule has over 100 courses available for Honors credit, ranging from Honors only classes to Honors classes with Projects or Options. Remember, contracts and Honors option courses need projects so be sure to talk to your professor!

Contract requirements for Spring 2013! All contract forms must be submitted within the first five weeks of class. All Honors option course decisions must be made and contracts turned in to the Honors office by February 8, 2013.

The courses that will admit only Honors students:
Honors English Composition, ENGL 2160-096 with Professor Matthew Marx.
The Honors Internshipm Honors 3970. Please call the Honors Office for a permit.
The Senior Thesis/Project, Honors 4980.
Calculus I, II and III, MATH 1950, 1960, and 1970: are available for Honors credit by Option in sections 091 through 099. There are also Honors option sections for Abstract Math, 2230 and Intro to Analysis, 3230.
SPECIAL NOTES
Students in the College of Arts and Sciences:
All upper level Foreign Language courses are available for Honors credit; contact the professor to make arrangements.
All classes from the Department of Chemistry are available for Honors credit; please contact the course professor.

Students in the College of Education:

There is an ongoing opportunity for the Volunteer Tutoring Initiative on the UNO campus. Honors Program students offer free tutoring to other UNO students at a convenient time and place for both parties. Three hours of Honors credit is awarded upon completion of 20 hours tutoring.
