I really enjoy the interdisciplinary nature of Women's & Gender Studies, along with the students and colleagues that I've met because of my association with the program. My current courses include WMST 2010: Introduction to Women's Studies: Social Sciences and PSCI 3230/8235: Gender & Global Politics. My comparative politics courses (France, UK, EU, Canada) always include attention to feminist issues and politics and policies that impact women.
While my research is informed by my connection to Women's & Gender studies, most of it falls into the camp of political sociology, with current projects investigating language (French/Francophone) and politics, cultural politics, and global trade issues.
