Women's and Gender Studies Major

The Women's and Gender Studies Major became available to UNO students in January 2001. As a liberal arts degree, the BA in Women's and Gender Studies prepares students for a wide variety of career paths. It may be of particular interest to students planning careers in areas such as education, counseling or business.

Majors work closely with Karen Falconer Al-Hindi, director of the Women's and Gender Studies Program to design a program of study that meets their goals.
