The University Committee for the Advancement of Teaching (UCAT) is pleased to announce travel grants around designated themes to increase capacity building in teaching and learning. Applications are encouraged for both interdisciplinary conferences focusing on teaching and learning as well as for disciplinary conferences with tracks or sessions focusing on one or more of the following themes. The applications should reflect UCAT’s mission for enhancement of teaching and student learning processes at UNO and focus on one or more of the following designated themes:
The Committee is accepting proposals on a monthly basis from September through April or until funds are expended. The Committee will fund grants up to $800 for each award. Proposals are due by the 21st of each month. Application forms are available below. Applicants should submit one hard copy and an electronic copy of the application in pdf or MS Word document formats to Brandy Klipfel (bklipfel@unomaha.edu). Hard copy submissions should be sent to the Center for Faculty Development in KH 514. Please review the rubric provided below as you prepare your application. All applications must be reviewed by the college UCAT representative before submitting and must be submitted to the representative by the 15th of the month.
