Instructional Materials Grants

Purpose:

UCAT Instructional Materials Grants are designed to support the goals of Teaching Circles. Members of Teaching Circles may apply for the purchase of instructional materials relevant to the purpose of the circle and which address one or more of the following themes

  • Curriculum Development and Assessment
  • Diversity
  • Instructional Technology
  • Interdisciplinary Integration
  • Promoting Critical Thinking Pedagogy
  • Student Mentoring, Advising and Research

The Committee is accepting proposals on a monthly basis from August through March or until funds are expended. The Committee will fund grants up to $500 for each award. Proposals are due by the first Friday of each month. Application forms are available below. Applicants should submit one hard copy and an electronic copy of the application in pdf or Word document formats to Nancy Meyer (nrmeyer@unomaha.edu). Hard copy submissions should be sent to the Center for Faculty Development in KH 514. All applications must be reviewed by the college UCAT representative before submitting and must be submitted to the representative by the first Friday of the month.
