2007-2008 Instructional Materials Grants

Purpose:

UCAT Instructional Materials Grants are designed to support the goals of Teaching Circles. Members of Teaching Circles may apply for the purchase of instructional materials relevant to the purpose of the circle and which address one or more of the following themes:


  • Active Learning
  • Assessment and e-Portfolios
  • Graduate Instruction/Mentoring
  • Interdisciplinary Integration
  • Promoting Critical Thinking
  • New Course or Curriculum Development

Process:

UCAT is accepting proposals on a monthly basis from September through April or until funds are expended. The committee will fund grants up to $500 for each award. Proposals are due by the 21st of the each month. Applicants should submit one hard and an electronic copy of the application. Electronic copies should be in rtf or MS Word document formats and sent as an email attachment to Alice Woll (awoll@mail.unomaha.edu). Hard copy submissions should be sent to the Center for Faculty Development in Arts and Sciences Hall 220.
