The Performance Task Academy is a highly interactive, collaborative environment designed to encourage participants to leave with tangible performance tasks to implement in their own classrooms.
The two day conference is designed to help faculty members use their course content to develop performance tasks. Incorporating these tasks into the classroom will effectively engage students in the process of developing critical thinking and problem solving skills.
Conference facilitator Marc Chun earned a Ph.D. in education from Stanford University and completed a postdoctoral fellowship in sociology and education and Teacher's College, Columbia University.
