Students must get a C or higher in the courses that count towards the minor, and maintain a 2.0 GPA overall in the minor.

Anthropology

Currently there are three paths for the study of the anthropology at UNO:

  1. A major in sociology with an anthropology emphasis.
  2. An interdisciplinary major with a program structured for anthropology.
  3. A major in any department, including sociology, with a minor in anthropology. A sociology major who wishes to minor in anthropology cannot simultaneously use anthropology for emphasis.  To earn a minor in anthropology, a student needs to complete ANTH 1050 (Introduction to General Anthropology) and at least 12 additional credit hours of upper division anthropology courses.
