Welcome

The purpose of the Chancellor's Commission on the Status of Women (CCSW) shall be to serve as an advisory council to the chancellor and other university administrators on issues that relate to women students, faculty, and staff at the University of Nebraska at Omaha. The commission is to monitor the status of women on the UNO campus and to recommend ways of improving that status

April Events

April is Sexual Assault Awareness Month

Thursdays in Black
 Every Thursday in April, simply wear black to show your support. Wear a teal ribbon or a label that says
‘Every 2 ½ minutes”, or “Ask me why I’m wearing black”, to bring more awareness.

Susan B. Anthony Coffeehouse - April 17 12 to 1 pm in the MBSC Nebraska Room -YWCA presentation on Date Rape and Sexual Assault

April 21 9 am to 3 pm YWCA The Clothsline Project

Similar to the AIDS quilt, The Clothesline Project puts a human face on the statistics of violence against women.
