Chancellor's Commission on the Status of Women 2008 Undergraduate Scholarship

In late Fall 2007 - early Spring 2008 CCSW will start taking applications for this scholarship.

Qualifications and Eligibility

Currently enrolled undergraduate students who will not be graduating until after Fall 2008. The committee seeks applicants who fulfill either one or both of the following criteria:

1) Making a significant contribution towards addressing gender issues or improving the status of women in their academic work or activities.

2) Demonstrating academic excellence in fields where women traditionally have been underrepresented.

The scholarship award will be presented at the CCSW spring luncheon in 2008. If you apply for the scholarship, please ensure that you can attend the luncheon. Luncheon date will be set in Fall 2008.
