Adult Learner Access Scholarship
The University of Nebraska at Omaha is pleased to announce scholarships (funded by a five year NSF STEP grant) for adult learners majoring in one of the following areas: Biology, Chemistry, Computer Science, Geology, Mathematics, MIS, or Physics. This award covers tuition for one undergraduate course in the major up to a maximum of $400.00. The award may be renewed for one additional consecutive semester (the student must reapply). Full-time or part-time students are eligible. Awards are given in the form of tuition credit on the student's account.
APPLICANT QUALIFICATIONS:
- Be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident
- Be at least 24 years of age
- Be an undergraduate with a minimum of 18 credit hours
- Have a 3.25 GPA or better
- Have been accepted for admission to UNO as a degree-seeking undergraduate student in one of the following majors: Biology, Chemistry, Computer Science, Geology, Mathematics, MIS, or Physics

Before classes start each semester: Fall, Spring, and Summer
