Professional Research
Professor Hoflund’s research focuses on networks, health care regulation, and network management and leadership. She has presented papers on her research at annual conferences held by the American Society for Public Administration, the Public Administration Theory Network, the Law and Society Association, and the Southeastern Conference on Public Administration. Professor Hoflund published an article in a March 2008 special issue of Regulation & Governance that explores some of the virtues and shortcomings of applying a democratic experimentalist approach to health care regulation. She also served as an editor on this special issue.

Professor Hoflund is a member of the American Political Science Association (APSA), the American Society for Public Administration (ASPA), Law and Society Association (LSA), and the Public Administration Theory Network (PAT-NET).
