Benefits of joining…

  • SSWO provides for a fun way to get to know our classmates at all levels of the Social Work Programs.
  • SSWO can be a networking resource. It provides opportunities to get to know professors, community members, and even other students. We will build networks that no doubt will be helpful to turn to throughout our careers!
  • SSWO provides students with opportunities to get involved with important social issues.
  • SSWO provides students with fun ways to put into action what has been learned in classes.
  • SSWO can act as a stepping stone to guide students to further develop professionally and join professional social work organizations.
