MSW University of Pittsburgh Biography Claudette Lee is the Practicum Coordinator for the School of Social Work. She received a BA in Literature and the Humanities from Youngstown University before obtaining an MSW from the University of Pittsburgh. Her focus in graduate school had been psychiatric group work and community organization. Claudette went on to work as a psychiatric group worker for the Akron Child Welfare Association and the Akron Child Guidance Center in Akron, Ohio. Claudette then left Ohio to work as an instructor for Iowa State University’s Child Development Department. Before coming to UNO, Claudette worked as a Family Therapist for Family Service of Omaha and the Eastern Nebraska Human Services Agency West Clinic. She also spent one summer teaching for Creighton University. Claudette enjoys working with the community as a volunteer on boards and committees and as part of her job, as well as with youth. Teaching Claudette is responsible for the planning and facilitation of all BSSW Practicum courses (SOWK 4410 and 4420) and MSW Practicum courses (SWOK 8160, 8170, 8400, 8410, and 8420) and practicum seminars.
