A. Olu Oyinlade

Dr. Oyinlade's research interests span across four main domains: Industrial/ Organizational Sociology, Demography, Race Relations and Sociology of Knowledge. Currently, Organizational Sociology in the main domain in which he is devoting most of his research energy. More specifically, Dr. Oyinlade's research and consulting interests lie in the areas of human relations skills necessary for effective organizational leadership. In this respect, he conducts research in employee motivation, organizational power, worker alienation, job satisfaction, diversity management in organizations and employee turnover issues. Dr. Oyinlade has presented several papers at local, regional, national and international professional conferences, and his research has been published in scientific journals such as the Sociological Spectrum, Journal of Visual Impairment and Blindness, Educational Research Quarterly, The Great Plains Sociologist and The Great Plains Research. Dr. Oyinlade is also a co-author of an introduction to sociology textbook , Understanding Sociology , published by Horizon Textbook Publishers.

Dr. Oyinlade's teaching responsibilities include courses at both the undergraduate and graduate levels. These courses include specialized courses in Organizational Sociology (Social Organization, Social Diversity in Organizations, Sociology of Formal Organizations, Organizational Culture) and general sociology courses (Introduction to Sociology, Social Problems, and Race and Ethnic Relations) . Currently, he teaches two courses each semester; one from each of these two areas.
