Assistant Professor of Sociology |
Dr. Ammons is an Assistant Professor in Sociology. She joined the UNO faculty in 2008 after receiving her Ph.D. from the University of Minnesota. Dr. Ammons currently teaches Work and Society, Research Methods, Introduction to Sociology, and Sociology of Gender. She is broadly interested in the intersection of work, family, gender and organizations. Her current research projects examine how individuals craft and maintain boundaries between their work and personal lives and the impact of these boundaries on other family members.
