Welcome, Students!
Every semester, there are a variety of courses at UNO that incorporate service learning. Students like you are given the opportunity to apply classroom curriculum to actual community needs. The opportunities provide a means of learning about the surrounding community and the organizations that serve those in need and take on important issues within the community. By doing your part, you will strengthen skills that will help you progress through your studies and/or career.

1. Sample Service Learning Courses at UNO provides an inside box on the left with a sampling of UNO’s service learning courses
2. P-16 Initiative provides visual and textual descriptions of P-16 projects and links to Service Learning Academy P-16 Newsletters that provide detailed descriptions of individual projects
Find UNO Service Learning Courses
To find UNO service learning courses being offered now or next semester:
1. Go to the UNO course listing and select the semester.
2. On the “class search” screen, click on the “Program” category and select “Service Learning” from the drop-down menu.
3. The search will show you courses which include a service learning component.
