MISSION:

To generate unity within the community by improving the Omaha Metro area through Seven Days of Service.

GOAL:

To renovate, improve, and revitalize houses, The Salvation Army, and The Malcolm X Site in the North Omaha area.

March 15th-22nd ~ You pick the day(s)

During Seven Days of Service, volunteers will work on repairing, fixing, and renovating The Salvation Army, and the Malcolm X Site, and 5-7 houses, which are a combination of new construction and rehabs. Tasks will include:

• Painting
• Landscaping
• General clean-up ~ inside and outside
• Remodeling & Renovating

• Registration starts at 8:30am at the Family Housing Authority on 24th & Lake St.
• All work will be concluded by 3:00pm.
• Lunch, drinks, and snacks will be provided daily.
• You will receive a free t-shirt, a recognition luncheon, and the pride of a good deed.
• Volunteers of all skill level and experience are welcome!

I will be attending the Volunteer Recognition and Celebration on Saturday, March 22, at 1:00 pm.

We will be working from 8:00-3:00 each day. T-shirts, breakfast, and lunch are complimentary.
