Paul Sather is the Director of the Service Learning Academy as well as the American Humanics program at the University of Nebraska at Omaha overseeing faculty, supervising special projects, and serves as the main representative for the academy at all levels. Prior to his position with the Service Learning Academy and American Humanics, Paul was a faculty member of the UNO School of Social Work where he served as the Associate Director.
Paul currently serves as an esteemed member of the Midwest Consortium, the AACU university representative, American Democracy Project campus representative, secretary of the board of Directors of the Non-Profit Association of the Midlands.
Paul Sather has also co-authored various publication regarding serve learning and civic engagement including works published in Diversity Digest, The Journal of Teaching in Social Work, Advances in Service Learning Research and a chapter in the text, Service Learning and Social Work: Strategies for Social Justice.
