UNIVERSITY VILLAGE PARKING

  1. University Village residents desiring to park in University Village parking lots J or L or in any student lot on campus, must purchase and display a valid UNO student parking permit (see Student Parking).
  2. Entry to Lots J and L require an access card. University Village residents should contact the University Village Housing Office for instructions to obtain an access card for University Village.
  3. If Lots J and L are full, University Village residents with a valid parking permit may park with the same restrictions as Student parking permits (see Student Parking).
  4. University Village residents with a valid parking permit may park on campus over night. However, the vehicle must be in a University Village parking lot or Student parking area when parking regulations enforcement begins ( Monday-Friday at 7:00 a.m., when classes are in session). University Village residents vehicles parking in Faculty/Staff parking areas when parking regulations enforcement begins may receive a $30 violation for unauthorized lot and/or be towed, without further notice, at the owner/operator’s expense.
  5. A University Village access card does not guarantee spaces on campus at any time during the day or evening.
  6. All permits expire August 15 unless otherwise noted on the permit.
  7. University Village residents parking permit fees are due and payable at the time the permit is issued.
  8. University Village residents parking permit fee refunds will be made on annual permits only, within the first two weeks of the effective date of the permit or date of purchase, whichever is later, at a ratio of 75% of the original fee. To be eligible for a refund, the individual must return the permit (or a scraped portion thereof) to Campus Security and complete a request for refund. Any outstanding violations will be deducted from the refund.
