FACULTY/STAFF PARKING

  1. Faculty/Staff: For parking permit purposes, the term Faculty/Staff refers to individuals who are employed as academic/administrative, managerial professional or office and service personnel. Those employed less than .50 FTE and also enrolled as a student are not eligible for a Faculty/Staff permit.

  2. Faculty/Staff personnel desiring to park at the UNO Dodge or Pacific Location must purchase a valid parking permit.

  3. Faculty/Staff are restricted to Faculty/Staff parking lots from 7:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. After 1:30 p.m., vehicles bearing valid parking permits may park in Faculty/Staff lots and designated Student lots as follows: A, D, F, H, K, O and X.

  4. Faculty/Staff parking areas are designated by parking lot signs green in color. Faculty/Staff parking lots are as follows: lots E, G, H, M, Q, R, S, U, W, X, First Christian Church (FCC), west area only, and lots 4, 5, 6, 7 (West portion) and 9 at the Pacific Location.

  5. After 8:00 p.m., vehicles bearing valid parking permits may park in designated Student lot N and lot 2 at the Pacific Location.

  6. Faculty/Staff personnel with “Night Only” permits may park on campus after 12:30 p.m., in the lots specified above. If you need to come on campus before 12:30 p.m., you may park in the First Christian Church parking lot, Shuttle parking at the Pacific Location (see Shuttle Parking) or stop by the Campus Security Department and obtain a Temporary Parking Permit to allow your vehicle on campus prior to 12:30 p.m.

  7. Payment of Fees: Faculty/Staff permit fees are due and payable at the time the permit is issued. Faculty and Staff designated by the UNO Human Resources Office as permanent personnel may elect to make payment through payroll deduction.

  8. All permits expire August 15 unless otherwise noted on the Permit.

  9. Faculty and Staff personnel who retire from the University may request parking permits free of charge by making application at the Campus Security office.

  10. Faculty/Staff permit refunds: Refunds for the Faculty/Staff parking permits, except those purchased through the payroll deduction method, will be made for each month the annual permit remains valid. To be eligible for a refund, Faculty/Staff personnel must return the permit (or a scraped portion thereof) to Campus Security and complete a request for refund. Any outstanding violations will be deducted from the refund.
