SPECIAL EVENTS PARKING

All visitors attending campus “special events” during regular business hours must park at Remote parking (see Remote Parking section), except for those scheduled for Friday afternoons and weekends. Exceptions must be submitted to and authorized by the Parking Advisory Committee no less than 10 working days prior to the event. Upon Parking Advisory Committee disapproval, arrangements must be made with Campus Security at least five working days prior to the event to ensure adequate shuttle service is available.

Events affected are all events scheduled through the Office of Reservations - Milo Bail Student Center, or other academic/non-academic scheduling offices, with an expected attendance of 25 or more.Exceptions may be made for events identified by the Chancellor or Vice-Chancellors as requiring oncampus parking. The criteria for exceptions to be granted by the Parking Advisory Committee will bethose with a scheduled start/stop time during identified low parking utilization hours.
