SCOTT RESIDENCE HALL PARKING
- Students at the Scott Residence Hall desiring to park in the Scott Residence Hall parking area
(east portion of Lot 7, at the Pacific location) or in any student lot on campus, must purchase and display a valid UNO student
parking permit (see Student Parking).
- Entry to the east portion of Lot 7 requires an access card. Scott Residence Hall residents should contact
the Business Office at Scott Residence Hall for instructions to obtain an access card for Scott Residence Hall parking.
- If the east portion of Lot 7 is full, Scott Residence Hall residents with a valid parking permit may park with the
same restrictions as Student parking permits
(see Student Parking).
- Scott Residence Hall Students with a valid parking permit may park on campus over night. However, the
vehicle must be in the Scott Residence Hall parking area (east portion of Lot 7, at the Pacific location), one of the Shuttle Bus
parking areas, or Student parking area when parking regulations enforcement begins (Monday-Friday at 7:00 a.m., when classes
are in session). Scott Residence Hall residents vehicles parking in Faculty/Staff parking areas when parking regulations enforcement
begins may receive a $30 violation for unauthorized lot and/or be towed, without further notice, at the
owner/operator’s expense.
- A Scott Residence Hall access card does not guarantee spaces on campus at any time
during the day or evening.
- All permits expire August 15 unless otherwise noted on the permit.
- Scott Residence Hall permit fees are due and payable at the time the permit is issued.
- Scott Residence Hall residents parking permit fee refunds will be made on annual permits
only, within the first two weeks of the effective date of the permit or date of purchase, whichever is later,
at a ratio of 75% of the original fee. To be eligible for a refund, the individual must return the permit
(or a scraped portion thereof) to Campus Security and complete a request for refund. Any outstanding
violations will be deducted from the refund.
