The 11th Annual Seven Days of Service, held in
conjunction with the University’s spring break, is a popular
service and engagement project throughout the Omaha
Metropolitan community. Seven Days brings UNO students,
K-12 students, and members of the Omaha community
together with local nonprofit partners to serve and learn
throughout the week. Seven Days of Service addresses the
needs of our community partners to build and strengthen our
metropolitan community.
Projects include: demolition, fundraising, renovating, building community gardens,
landscaping and beautifying local nonprofits, sorting and organizing donations, serving meals to the area's homesless, painting, conservation of area parks or gardens, preparing for auctions,
canvassing neighborhoods about fire safety and the list goes on.
Buses will be picking up volunteers from Scott Village at 8:15am and Milo Bail Student Center at 8:30-9:00am.
Volunteers can sign up for one day, two days or
more at UNOServe!
