Ron Burke Scholarship

$2,500 per academic year
Application Deadline February 28 each year
Scholarship Criteria
 1. Religious Studies major in the College of Arts and Sciences, University of Nebraska at Omaha
 2. Junior or senior class standing (junior standing requires 58 credit hours)
 3. Write an 800 to 1200 word essay expressing deep love and passion towards pursuing a career in religious studies.

Dale Stover Scholarship

$500 per academic year
Application Deadline February 28 each year
Scholarship Criteria
 1. Candidates must be regularly enrolled at the University of Nebraska at Omaha.
 2. Recipients shall have a sophomore class standing (27 hours) or above.
 3. Recipients shall have at least a 3.0 grade point average (GPA).
 4. Candidates shall be religious studies majors in the College of Arts and Sciences or have declared religious studies as their area of concentration (major) in the Division of Continuing Studies.
 5. Candidates (applicants) shall submit a 1000-1200 word essay on one of the following topics.
            i. Religion and Healing
           ii. Religion and Gender
           iii. Oral Narrative and Religion
           iv. Dreaming and Religious Meaning
           v. Plant and Animal Kinship and Religion
