David Demson is Professor Emeritus at the University of Toronto, where he taught theology for 39 years. A graduate of Harvard, Dr. Demson received his D.Phil. from Oxford and studied under Karl Barth in Basel. His book Hans Frei and Karl Barth: Different Ways of Reading Scripture was published in 1997. For 30 years he has served as General Secretary of the Karl Barth Society of North America.
