This website is designed to be a resource for Omaha area seniors.

This site features a calendar of area events and PWSA activities, a list of senior resources, and the findings of recent research on aging. We have special sections with information for individual members and corporate members; and information on how you or your organization can support and become involved in the activities of PWSA.

As one of the community outreach programs housed within the University of Nebraska at Omaha College of Public Affairs and Community Service Department of Gerontology, PWSA works to provide a variety of creative outlets for women and men of all ages.

PWSA is a membership-based, non-profit organization that serves nearly 200 active members and reaches out to hundreds of other elderly people in the community. It's mission is to create a climate that encourages an appreciation of the elderly, their wisdom, their cultural diversity, and the multiple aspects of their aging process.

PWSA offrs a variety of professional and community education opportunities for older women and their service providers. Its members also work to improve the lives of women through community outreach activities.
