Ramazan Kilinc is an Assistant Professor of Political Science and Director of Islamic Studies Program at the University of Nebraska at Omaha. He received his Ph.D. (2008) from Arizona State University and M.A. (2001) and B.A. (1999) from Bilkent University, Turkey. He previously taught in James Madison College at Michigan State University.

Current Research:
Dr. Kilinc's most recent articles are forthcoming in Comparative Politics and Political Science Quarterly. He is currently working on a book manuscript tentatively entitled as History, Norms and State Policies toward Religious Minorities: France and Turkey. He is also working on a project entitled “The Role of Religious Beliefs and Institutions in Generosity: Catholicism and Islam.” In this project, funded by Templeton Foundation (budget $363,666) he works with Carolyn Warner (Political Science) and Adam Cohen (Psychology) of Arizona State University.
